Especially the revitalisation process for Swiss and Graubünden tourism is actively supported. For this purpose, the institute concentrates on the research fields of «Digital Transformation in Tourism», «Tourism and Leisure Infrastructures» as well as «Touristic Environments». In cooperation with destinations, service providers and associations as well as stakeholders from the world of politics and administration departments, solutions for business, social and political issues relating to tourism and leisure are developed.

With event series, like for example the Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS), students’ projects and publications, the Institute for Tourism and Leisure (ITF) encourages exchanges of experience between the fields of science, economy and politics.
