To complete your documents we need some more details / documents. The primary objective is to determine which canton is responsible for financing your education. Please fill in the personal data form and hand in the according proof of residency documents using the following link:

The personal data form is designed to determine which canton is responsible for the funding of your education according to the Intercantonal Agreement of University of Applied Sciences. The result is a item (A - F) under which you will find the required additional documents. According to the completed personal data form, we aks you to request a confirmation of residence from the mentioned municipality and to submit it to us (please note that if point E1 applies to you, the confirmation of residence of the parents or the holder of parental authority is required). Please make sure that the residence confirmation is not issued before 16 June 2024. It must not be older than 3 months at the start of your studies (16 September 2024). 

If you are not yet in possession of a residency permit (visa holders), you may submit the according documents after your studies start. 

Please note that the personal data form needs to be signed and the confirmation of residence needs to be the original document. Please send both papers to the following address until 15 July 2024.

After submitting the correct confirmation of residence, you will be enrolled in the correct course of study. As a result of this, the access to your online profile expires. Please download the required documents in advance.

For the mathematics module, you need prior knowledge that corresponds to the mathematics level of the Swiss vocational baccalaureate. We recommend that you look at and work through the Moodle course «Previous knowledge of mathematics» before you start your studies. The course shows you the required prior knowledge and helps you to close any gaps.

Our university calendar already tells you when you can relax and enjoy your time off. In addition to the holiday periods for the coming years, you will also find the block and examination weeks as well as the respective semester starts.

In mid-August, you will receive an e-mail with the detailed program for the introduction days and an invitation to the official kick-off event.

At the beginning of September, IT sends all new students their personal FHGR user name and password by e-mail. You can use these to log in to our IT systems.
