The bachelor’s degree programme in Architecture serves to provide basic training for a career as an architect. When you study architecture you learn skills that you can apply independently in the areas of design, development and construction. Issues relating to construction in Alpine regions play a key role here.
The bachelor’s degree programme in Architecture at University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons is the only one of its kind in Switzerland that allows participants to work together with civil engineers on an interdisciplinary basis during their training.

Admission requirements
For admission to the bachelor’s degree programme in Architecture at UAS Grisons, you must meet both of the following conditions:
You hold one of the following certificates
- A federally recognised vocational school-leaving certificate in technology, architecture or life sciences (formerly referred to as a technical vocational baccalaureate) or in business and services (formerly referred to as a commercial vocational baccalaureate) or in design and art (formerly referred to as a design vocational baccalaureate).
- Federally recognised grammar school or specialist school-leaving certificate.
- Comparable qualification: the general qualification for university entrance (Abitur) and the subject-specific qualification for university entrance correspond to the grammar school school-leaving certificate. The advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur) is deemed to be equivalent to the vocational school-leaving certificate.
You have professional experience
- Professional basic training or one year of professional experience in the area of construction and planning (preferably at an architecture firm).
