Prof. Dr. Andreas Ziltener started his academic career at the University of St.Gallen managing the Executive MBL-HSG program. As co-founder of several swiss companies (beecom AG, Ziltener GmbH, MGA Solutions Zürich AG, Jump-on-Stage AG, Sciencebuster AG, Worldwebforum AG, beecom Products AG) he was able to experience the practical side of entrepreneurship and innovation. Since 2007, Andreas is professor of entrepreneurship & innovation at the University of Applied Science of the Grisons and active as Start-up expert at the ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen. Furthermore, he is senior researcher at the Swiss Institute for Entrepreneurship SIFE, where he conducts research on innovation management.
Jazz fits as reference model for ambidexterity in innovation management. Both, Jazz and innovation management deal with the systematic planning and coordination of complex, work-sharing processes that should protect the creative freedom of many actors involved and produce innovative outcomes. Since his youth, he has been playing double bass in various jazz combos. Current formations are JIST (JazzImSTall) and the legendary Jazzonomicals.
