Kerstin Klein is a research associate and project lead at the Swiss Institute for Entrepreneurship (SIFE)

Kerstin holds a Master of Business majoring in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Advertising from the University of Queensland, Australia. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in the areas of marketing and consumer behavior at the University of Queensland and was involved in the university's active startup scene. She further holds a bachelor's degree in tourism and leisure management from the IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria, during which she completed an exchange semester at PolyU, Hong Kong SAR and a full-time internship in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Kerstin Klein has several years of experience in management consulting as part of the Austrian foreign trade office in Sydney, helping companies enter and expand in the Australia/Oceania markets. Her area of expertise were the construction, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, as well as crisis management as a result of Covid-19. Sustainability and innovation are important topics for her, both professionally and privately, focusing on how to best promote profitability and long-term growth for various stakeholders through sustainable and innovative action.

 In her free time, she enjoys getting to know new people and cultures.
