Dominic has joined the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons in January 2021 as the director of studies of the part-time undergraduate degree program in Digital Supply Chain Management.
As a member of the board of VNL – Verein Netzwerk Logistik Schweiz and as a member of the advisory board of the INOS – Innovation Network Eastern Switzerland platform «Ecellence in Supply Chains», he supports the collaboration between science and industry in the field of supply chain management.
Born and raised in Chur, he completed a commercial apprenticeship followed by the university entrance qualification (Maturität) through an evening school. He completed his degree in business administration at the University of Zurich in 2015.
As a lecturer at a university of applied sciences in Zurich, he taught strategy and corporate finance from 2005 to 2010 bevor transitioning to an industry position as a project manager in Basel. Working for a B2B service organization, Dominic optimized and automated processes and led reorganization projects. In 2013 he joined another B2B service organization where he established a procurement excellence function and implemented a digital end-to-end platform (source-to-pay). At the end of 2015, Dominic transferred to the Austrian organization of the same company where he reorganized and led the procurement function. 2018 he joined the company's executive team to establish an operational excellence organization.
He expanded his intercultural horizon by working and studying in multiple European countries, the US, India and China.
As a lifelong learner, Dominic has completed certifications such as CSCP - Certified Supply Chain Professional and PMP - Project Management Professional and continuosly expands his understanding in fields such as procurement, negotiations, change management, Lean Six Sigma and Robotic Process Automation.
